A multi-location business reputation checklist
Use this when you have more than one public profile and no single person owns them all.
Inventory every profile
Search each location name and address on Google, Apple, Bing, Yelp and your industry directories. Note duplicates, closed stores and wrong phone numbers.
Assign an owner per location
One person (or a shared inbox) should get every new review alert. Without an owner, replies stall when managers change.
Standardize replies
Write a short style guide: thank the customer, name the fix when there is one, never argue, never share private details. Drafts can be reused.
Report only policy breaks
Fake reviews, wrong-business reviews and posts with personal information may qualify for a platform report. Ordinary one-star opinions usually stay, and a calm reply is the tool.
This guide is general information, not legal advice. Platform and search engine policies change; links go to each one’s own page.
